SMP Engineers deliver results for Queensland Curtis LNG (QCLNG)

Printable PDF
The QCLNG Project involves construction of a world-class liquefied
natural gas (LNG) plant on Curtis Island off Gladstone in central
Queensland.
SMP Engineering was engaged to supply a team to drive the
practical completion of piping works and deliver completed system
packages for the client on the Ruby Jo and Glendower projects.
Key deliverables included a full review of ‘as built’ against piping
isometrics and P&ID’s (piping and instrumentation diagram)
drawings, identifying gaps and providing yellow and red line mark
up. Discrepancies were reviewed against TQ’s (technical queries)
and redline mark-up completed. On completion of system packages,
pipelines were walked down with the client representatives for
acceptance. SMP’s team of engineers were also involved in
identifying and closing out of punch list items.
